POS Systems for Retail & Restaurants
POS systems in Kenya for retail and restaurants: eTIMS compliant invoicing, integrated M-Pesa, stock control, kitchen display and multi-branch reporting.
Point of sale built for Kenya: eTIMS tax invoices, integrated M-Pesa, stock control that shows you shrinkage, and reporting across every branch.
A point of sale system in Kenya has to do more than print receipts. It must issue tax invoices through KRA's eTIMS, confirm M-Pesa payments automatically so fake confirmation messages cannot cost you money, and keep stock accurate enough that you see shrinkage before your accountant does.
Neurobyte built the integrated store POS, stock control and real-time analytics for Kaddies Wholesalers across branches, and a restaurant suite for a hospitality group covering digital ordering, kitchen display, table management and POS on one backend. We build POS that fits how your business actually sells, rather than asking you to sell the way a generic product was designed.
Every POS we deliver is engineered with the same security discipline as our cybersecurity practice: cashier permissions that stop unauthorised voids and price changes, protected payment integrations and a full audit trail.

Frequently asked questions
Is your POS system eTIMS compliant?
Yes. The POS issues electronic tax invoices through KRA eTIMS, including credit notes, and shows staff any invoice that is rejected so nothing silently fails.
Does the POS work with M-Pesa?
Yes. Payments are confirmed through Safaricom's Daraja API, so a sale is only marked paid when Safaricom confirms it, and the day's takings are reconciled against the M-Pesa statement automatically.
Can the POS work when the internet is down?
It is designed to keep selling during outages and synchronise when connectivity returns, so a dropped line does not stop trading.
Do you have a POS for restaurants?
Yes. We have built restaurant systems with digital ordering, kitchen display, table management and POS on one backend, with recipe-based stock deduction.
Can one POS manage several branches?
Yes. Prices are controlled centrally and head office sees sales, stock and margins for every branch in real time.
How much does a POS system cost?
It depends on the number of branches and tills, hardware, the integrations you need and whether you need custom features. We quote after a short discovery so the price matches what you actually need.
