Danstan Akwiri is a cybersecurity, data privacy, compliance and AI strategy executive with more than nine years of experience securing digital platforms across finance, healthcare, critical infrastructure, education technology, commerce and small business.
As founder and Managing Director of Neurobyte Technologies, he sets the company's cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and software strategy, and leads the delivery of governance, risk and compliance programmes for clients in several countries.
He most recently served as Vice President of Cybersecurity & IT Infrastructure at Cyberpro Global, directing security strategy, incident response and compliance for multi-client, multi-country environments, and building cybersecurity training programmes that reduced security incidents.
Danstan lectures in Computer Science and Information Security, and speaks at cybersecurity forums in Africa and internationally, including CyberWeek Africa and Cybertech Week Tel Aviv.
