Free Passphrase Generator

Create strong, memorable passphrases with Neurobyte's free generator. Built on the secure Web Crypto RNG — nothing leaves your browser.

About this tool

The strongest passwords are the ones you can actually remember — long, random and unique. This free passphrase generator builds memorable multi-word passphrases (and optional symbols and numbers) using the browser's cryptographically secure random number generator, so each one has real, measurable entropy rather than the false strength of a short password with character substitutions.

Nothing is generated on a server or transmitted anywhere — it all happens in your browser. Use a fresh passphrase for high-value accounts like email, banking and password-manager master passwords, and let a password manager handle the rest. A four-or-five-word random passphrase is both easy to type and extremely hard to crack.

Frequently asked questions

Are these passphrases secure?

Yes. They're generated with the Web Crypto API's cryptographically secure RNG and selected from a large word list, giving high entropy. Generation happens entirely in your browser — nothing is sent or stored.

Why use a passphrase instead of a password?

A passphrase of several random words is far longer than a typical password, which makes it dramatically harder to brute-force, while still being easy to remember and type. Length is the single biggest factor in resistance to cracking.

How many words should my passphrase have?

Four to five random words is a good baseline for important accounts. Add more words for your most sensitive logins such as a password-manager master password.
